This is a very technical feature, it offers limited- due to dual texture- area for a climbing grip. Depending on the orientation of the hold it can be used as pinches or edges or slopers The textured areas of the hold are made in a way that offers a generous edge and if fliped on the other side then you get a sloper. The feature is hollow back and can also be used as a screw-on.
